Valley Inquiry Charter School

CHALLENGE - Located in Salem Oregon, this charter school needed help rebranding their newly re-named public grade school. The school had achieved IB World school status and the name change and identity design had to reinforce that change while conveying the history of Baker Charter in a way that would not cause confusion.

ACTION - We started from scratch with an all-new symbol concept and logotype that would embrace the youthfulness needed for a grade-school while maintaining the professionalism seen in IB World schools.

RESULTS - The new logo is the cornerstone of a complete identity system that serves the school in many applications. The identity was further established with print media including stationery, brochures, flyers, and an all-new website that are now used to promote the school.

WEBSITE
In our initial meetings we discovered that Valley Inquiry needed a Content Management System that was easier to use than Drupal (or Joomla) and more robust than WordPress. The solution was to create a custom PHP based CMS that would be the platform for flexible content, a calendar & event system, blogging capability, and user security.

The result is a website that empowers the school to easily communicate with parents and other desired audiences in a way that is relevant to everyone.
